Prominent Peruvian designer Carlos Vigil will make his second appearance at Couture Fashion Week New York with the presentation of his latest collection entitled "Metropolis." The fashion show will be held at 8:00 pm on Sunday February 16, 2014 in the Grand Ballroom of the landmark New Yorker Hotel, 481 Eighth Avenue in the heart of the city's Fashion District.

Inspired by the imposing majesty of modern-day skyscrapers, Carlos Vigil’s Fall 2014 collection pays homage to human ingenuity and the towering architecture of the most cosmopolitan cities on Earth. With new technology, many of these buildings twist and turn in sensual lines and feminine curves, reminiscent of the beauty of the female form. This is the starting point of “Metropolis”, an haute couture collection filled with structured patterns, curved lines and sensual embroidery for a perfect combination of architecture and femininity, translated into luxury fashion.
