Joseph Domingo to Present Latest Inspired Collection in Couture Fashion Week New York Debut
San
Francisco-based designer Joseph Domingo will
present his latest collection
on the runway at the next
Couture Fashion Week in New York.The fashion show
will be held at 8:00 p.m. on Sunday September 16, 2012
in the Grand Ballroom of the world-famous Waldorf-Astoria. As a student of architecture, no
one appreciates the importance of construction or the
aesthetics of symmetry better than Joseph Domingo. Mr.
Domingo's creative passion inevitably drew him to the
fashion industry. He worked for a variety of manufacturing
companies and fashion houses throughout the West Coast,
honing his abilities in design, cutting, pattern making
and draping. Later, he worked at an atelier in San
Francisco with a French designer and learned the
discipline of the revered tradition of couture. The
boutique ran much like its old world counterparts, with a
respect for the needs of its clientele and pride in the
craftsmanship of the work. Since opening his own atelier on 808 Post
Street in San Francisco in 1999, Mr. Domingo has catered to a diverse
clientele of women and men in society and business. The majority of
regular clients purchase complete wardrobes for the exquisite fit of
made-to-measure and the inimitable touch of custom design. The Joseph Domingo brand debuted at Los Angeles Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week for Fall 2006. An overwhelmingly positive response from some of the fashion industry's major players has helped build his reputation and ensured that Mr. Domingo is an important talent to watch.
